Oh my goodness, the power of the internet! I idly Googled Ray because, for some odd reason, I was wondering when it was that he discovered the 'hole in the road'. Check Google for details..... I went to school with him, we were rather similar chaps and we enjoyed a friendship amongst those of us who didn’t like football very much. We were reunited years later by...... Friends Reunited and we saw each other a few times in London which was nice. When he was ill, he let me know and we saw each other from time to time whenever he felt like it. I told him that he was truly inspirational and that is so true.

Anyway, what a lovely family are the Szynowskis. Remembering you, Ray, my lovely inspirational sometime friend. x
